Adabi Seafood and Salted Fish Curry Recipe:
Ingredients
600gm Prawns, Crabs or Salted Fish
100ml/gm Cooking oils
26gm Seafood and salted fish Curry Powder Adabi
64gm/3 nos. Shallots (crushed or blend)
2 nos. Garlics (crushed or blend)
1 no. Onion > (slices)
1 cup (220ml/gm) Coconut milk
2.5gm(1/4 teaspoon) Adabi Tamarind Paste
Or 1 teaspoon Seeded Tamarind
700ml(3 1/2 cups) Water
1 1/2 nos. Tomatoes
2cm Cinnamon Stick
1 stripe Curry Leaf
Salt and Seasoning to taste


Cooking Instructions:

  1. Heat the cooking oil in a braising pan or cooking pot.
  2. Saute the cinnamon stick, sliced garlic, onion and curry leaf until fragrant and turns into golden color.
  3. Then, put in the curry paste and saute it gently until it become slightly brown. (Cautions: Slightly saute the paste gently 
  4. approximately around 5 minutes).
  5. Pour in the remain amount of water, 1 cup of diluted tamarind and seafood. Boil around 10-15 minutes.
  6. After that, add the coconut milk, tomatoes, salt and seasoning to taste. Reduce to a lightly thickened consistency for another 10 minutes, ready to serve.
